Precious Child of God

Lily Anne Hudson came to earth October 21st, ten weeks early to her to be with her good, loving parents, Kevin and Lori Hudson, for a short time. Lily weighed 3 lb. 4 oz. and had beautiful dark hair. We are all grateful to spend moments with such a wonderful daughter of God. We know that Lily has qualified to go to the celestial kingdom, now we have to live so we can be with her.

I wish I could express my thoughts and feelings better, but it is just not a strong point that I have. My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin and Lori that they will be comforted in this difficult time.

Everyone Loves a good Party!

Grandpa has been preparing all week for his dinner party. On Friday Josh said, "Birthday parties, Christmas parties, I like them all. What kind of party is Grandpa having? Are we invited?"

My Boys

Mom still can't get over Pianomans beard, and then she saw me too. What can I say, hair grows.

Motivation

I have decided to start working out regularly again. The motivation is to loose a few pounds, and to get in good enough shape to climb Gannett Peak. My boss has invited me to climb it with him. He did it last year, and is going for a second attempt this year. I have invited my good friend Josh, and I am going to invite my brother in law Jon. Gannett Peak is the highest peak in Wyoming, and at 13,804 ft. is taller than grand teton. It is home to the largest glacier in the lower 48, and is the most remote of the 48 highest peaks in the nation. Quite a challenge, but I am going to conquer it. Here are a few pictures I have found on the internet of Gannett, and the view from Gannett.

3 year old

• Some of the funny things Josh said this week. On walking through Grandpas front door and seeing all of the carpet torn out he said, "Holy Shoot!".
• After unhooking grandmas dishwasher and spilling water all over the floor I ran to the laundry room to get some towels. On the way with Josh right on my heels he said loudly, "Now you've done it".
• After touching my face Josh gigled and said, "Your wiskers are like nails".
• Today, Melece asked him to go push play on the DVD player to watch one of his movies. He loudly complained and said he couldn't get up to go push play. Melece asked him, "how lazy are you?". Josh grinned and replied, "As lazy as a Lamanite."

It has been a crazy week with Grandpas remodel, but we are all looking forward to spending this weekend in Loa with the cousins.

Rainy Day

I haven't accomplished much today. Everything I had planned for today had something to do with outside. Melece hosted a bridal shower this morning, so Josh and I cleaned the basement. It will be nice when we can get out and work on our yard.

Eager Beaver

Jacob, our eager beaver. There isn't anything he isn't willing to taste, at least once. Melece claims he is a picky eater like his dad, but the kid eats dirt, so I don't think he is that picky yet.

Mount Sinai

This is Joshua playing Mt. Sinai. He came down and told us that he got the Ten Commandments, and then when he got down to us he promptly threw them down and broke them. His question of the week was, "Mom, are we a righteous family?".

Yep...He's a Salisbury!!!

This is only partly staged. He had it pretty much on his nose, when I got the camera and I did have to help reapply the spoon.
