Once there Was a Snowman...TALL, TALL, TALL!

Tyler and I decided to build a snowman Christmas day. We soon found out we might need some help, so we recruited Nate and Courtney.

Our New Foster Cat

So we have had this cat hang around the house since Tuesday. Then last night Floyd did it last night!!! He gave it some table scraps! So I figure it is going to be here for a while and I let Josh name it. Meet Toddy the cat! That is the name Josh picked, I don't know where or why...but...Toddy! I am sure we will have a better picture coming. Oh did I mention, Veda sealed the deal this morning when she put out the doggy bowl (that she had from when Felicia was here) and put her cereal milk in it, for the cat! I told Veda I think her and Floyd have gone soft, that or Hell froze over.

The New Member of the Salisbury Home

Pigeon

aka J-O-S-H

Pigeon arrived Monday (Memorial Day) to Joshua's window ledge and has been there ever since. He has become our little friend. When I inquired on the internet about Pigeon, the response was that he is a racing pigeon that got tired flying in the stroms that we have had and needed to stop and rest. So we are watching him and waiting to see how long he will last, before he heads home. It has been fun having him around.

Name my business!

I need help coming up with a name for my business. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, let me explain. I bought a lathe to make wood turnings. If you don't know what turnings are, look up www.tablelegs.com I also hope to make furniture like tables, china hutches, music stands and stools, etc. Your ideas and requests are welcome. Anyways, I need help with the name. Here are some suggested names.

• Black Rock Woodworking

Also, I need a slogan to follow the name.

For example: Black Rock Woodworking, Fine Furniture & Turnings.

Jacob on the other hand in just looking for some good shade.

When Tyler asked Josh about wearing his mom's heels, he responded by saying, "I just want new shoes."

Sunday morning we search and search, and Josh's tie was nowhere to be found. While I was still hunting Josh went down stair and told Grandpa his tie was missing. So Grandpa borrowed Josh one of his ties. As much as Joshua wanted to wear Grandpa's tie to church, Mom found his tie.
